Silver Crowns by Dawn Gabrielle Chandler

Silver Crowns

Melting snow catches the sunlight and falls

like diamonds from the tree, adding splashes

of silver crowns to the puddle below;

each one has its moment of fleeting glory

as the earth welcomes back what is hers.
