As Outtakes Fall by Foy Timms

As Outtakes Fall

This is his silent running away.

A leaving dressed in eventlessness

To find a hiding place behind her eyes,

across the resting fields.

Bittersweet outtakes listen at his feet

as the ending washes itself in ungovernable rain.
