Reluctantly

It was a beautiful

tie in warm fall colours

it complimented

the dimples in his

cheeks somehow

and gave his face

a warm pumpkin-like

glow

his smile was clean

and non-assuming

his laugh displayed

a boyish charm

and made me smile

About This Poem

Written as a reflection on men's attire and remembering a cute blonde sporting his back-to-school tie, I still smile every time I read this poem. Reluctantly, of course.
